For this circus-inspired painting, I had so much fun going crazy with the collage elements when following my desire to make it look like an old amusement building that’s been plastered with posters, graffitied, and weathered over time. For extra interest, I added the elephant ear which is dimensional and sticks up off the painting… for a little bit of whimsy and flair. Inspired by the old Palace Amusements building in Asbury Park, NJ.
